L2CCA
I am a fully
qualified trout fishing coach, having studied and
successfully been accredited with the Level 2 certificate in
Coaching Angling (L2CCA). This coaching scheme,
endorsed by Sport England is recognised as the
coaching qualification in angling. Full details can be
obtained by accessing the Fishcoach website at
www.fishcoach.org
where, if you wish you can verify my accreditation.
The L2CCA
accreditation also means that I have been subject to
the enhanced disclosure procedure via the Criminal Records
Bureau and demonstrates that I am "safe" to work with
children. Also included in my certification, I have
completed a First Aid Course, fulfilling the requirements of
the Health & Safety Executive Regulations 1981, for
"Appointed Persons (Emergency First Aid) in the workplace.
GAIA
A a member of
the Game Angler Instructors Association (GAIA), my L2CCA
status is recognised by and validated by the National body
representing Game Angling Instruction. Again, detailed
information can be obtained by accessing
www.gameanglinginstructors.co.uk where you will also be
able to verify my credentials.
Although not
professional qualifications, you will see from my membership
of the
Fly Tiers Guild,
the
Salmon & Trout Association
(S&TA)
and
the
British Association of Shooting and Conservation
(BASC),
that I am an enthusiastic believer in the
pursuit of country sports and the conservation of our
countryside, elements which I endeavour to pass on to all my
clients.
